Lou Iguana
Iguanus Satchmodius
The amorous lizard with the blown-out vocals is our leading man and bandleader. Part Cab Calloway, part Louis Armstrong with a crushed leather exterior and a heart of gold. He's already sold and due for shipment tomorrow, part of the reason for his paranoid serenade. Chirpella, our lovely cockatoo, is his muse. When Lou's not scatting (and his terrarium is scat central if you know what I mean), he enjoys basking on his sunning log and feasting on crickets.

Chirpella
Cockatiel Ellafitzgerus
Our lovely chanteuse is a real looker which is why she is prominently displayed in the front window. Because of her high perch, she always has the attention of all the other denizens of the Pet Shop. So while she's their leading lady she also acts as the lookout, alerting others to the approach of visitors.

Mama New Guinea
Guiness Preturbus
She's a Guinea who thinks everyone else is a pig. She only wants to grab a nap, is that so wrong? But with the joint swingin' all the time she's a nervous wreck.

Serpus Maracus
He's a rattlesnake that plays the maracas, what else do you need to know? Oh, and he plays with his food (the feeder mice he befriends. For a while.)

These little mice are everywhere in the pet shop, serving double duty as both pets and food. They are also known to be excellent percussionists.

Pet Shop Guy
Curtis Interruptus
This guy is literally "The Man." He doesn't mean to be a buzzkill, but hey, it's an unwritten rule that animals can't play Jazz in front of people. Secret fact: he knows about their shenanigans from the security tapes.
